2000 - Evelyn Mikomagi (Estonia), she was semi-finalist in Miss Universe 2000
1999 - Diana Nogueira (Spain), she was second runner up in Miss Universe 1999
The popular pageant website Globalbeauties (http://www.globalbeauties.com/) is having a yearly 'SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE' competition since 1999.. basically the website will nominate about 30 contestants who have took part in the 5 major beauty pageants (Miss Universe, Miss World , Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Tourism International) and the nominees doesn't have to be the winner or runners up from the pageants..

i have attached the photos of the former winners from 1999 - 2006.. surprisingly none of the former winners are actually the winner in the pageant they took part.. the closer were Evelina (2001) and Kurara (2006) both were first runner up in Miss Universe pageant.. so far out of 8 former winners, Japan has won twice in 2003 and 2006.. all the former winners information are gathered from globalbeauties website..
