book@fest..

Here are the 9 books I got from the book fest..
There is a book fest in KL Convention Centre from 24/5/08 till 2/6/08 and this is the 3rd year of the event.. I have missed the previous two, so definitely must go this time.. Heard from my colleagues the discount given for certain books are quite good, can even get 50% - 70% off for selected items.. so can't wait to go there for book shopping..
I was there yesterday after work.. luckily not so many people.. I have wrote down the books that I wanna get from the catalogue.. firstly I go to find those books that already in my list, so happy and I manage to find all of them.. YEAH!! there are so many books with good offers, so the 'kia-su' me shop around to find more books.. at last.. I paid RM207 for 9 books, so average it is RM23 for one book.. so good price ha..!! all 9 are chinese books...
The English books section is not so big and I was a bit disappointed with the discount given, only 15% - 20% off.. not attractive at all... beside books, there are CD, DVD, thumb drive, memory card, stationary and some office equipments in the book fest..

The book fest is over on this sunday, so if you are looking for some books then I am sure you can safe quite a lot with the good offers..

another famous 'fish head noodle' in town..

Fish head noodle again ha...!! haha!! I heard of this fish head noodle in Kuchai Lama from friends but have no chance to try because the shop is close on saturday and sunday.. funny ha, usually those eating places are open on saturday and sunday because weekend sure got lot of people hunting for foods and can make big money on weekend as well, but this shop seems like not really care for the business over the weekend.. I bet the boss already got more then enough profits made over the weekdays..

I was off on last Monday.. so first thing in my mind is to go try the fish head noodle that I been heard for so long.. friend do ask me to try the clay pot 'lou she fan'.. We manage to find the place and as what we have expected, the place is pack and it is lunch time as well.. We are damn lucky because no need to wait for the table.. we ordered fish head noodle and clay pot 'lou she fan', as we seen most of the other tables also having these two dishes, so definitely its a 'must try'..!! In fact we wish to order more but just two of us, don't think we could finish..

Surprisingly the foods server very fast, within 5 minutes although lot of people there.. both dish also nice but I would prefer the clay pot 'lou she fan' because it is spicy and not oily.. definitely we will find a day to visit the place again.. and of coz we will go in a bigger group to try more foods..

the HEALTH CONSULTANT in my office..

This lady I bet is in her late 40s or maybe early 50s.. she is my colleague from another department.. basically her jobs are not so busy, her main role is to download and prepare some market rates to the risk management people.. so basically she is quite free in office..

So when she is free she would like to share her health knowledge with others, especially to those Malay clarks who willing to listen to her.. but most of the Chinese colleagues included me usually don't really entertain her, so she also not interested to share with us anymore.. haha!! so bad ha.. chinese colleagues.. wakaka..!! that day I was nearby her partition to do some works and I heard that that she is telling other she only eat one particular type of salt and only take few type of fishes.. OMG!! even salt also have to be selected.. what human is she..??

Another funny fact is even my GM also known she is the only person in our office who don't heat foods in microwave.. haha!! I noticed that she brings her own prepared breakfast and lunch everyday.. of coz she needs to because outside foods don't cook with that particular salt that she eat..

I know that we have to watch what are we eating for our health, especially person like me who eat outside often.. but not till so extreme like her.. where got fun in our life if we only eat our own cook foods.. right??

She has been awarded the title of 'health consultant' in my office by most of us.. congratulation!!

Good to hear : Myanmar to allow all aid workers

In this photo released by UNICEF, Myanmar children are shown near cyclone Nargis storm damage Sunday, May 18, 2008, near Dedaye township in the Irrawaddy delta of Myanmar.

It is so good to see this news in The Star Online juz now.. Finally Myanmar allowed all the aid workers to enter the country to help those cyclone survivors.. Hopefully they would able to help those survivors with sufficient of medicines and foods, and of cause a 'home'..

This is the news : -
NAYPYITAW Myanmar - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says Myanmar's junta has agreed to allow "all aid workers" into the country to help cyclone survivors.

Ban's comments came after a crucial two-hour meeting Friday with the junta leader, Senior Gen. Than Shwe.
When asked if he thought the agreement was a breakthrough, Ban told reporters, "I think so."
Myanmar's junta has until now refused to allow an unimpeded influx of foreign aid and experts to reach survivors of the May 2-3 Cyclone Nargis.
At least 78,000 people were killed and another 56,000 are unaccounted for.

nasi lemak.. yummy!!

Nasi Lemak is one of the most popular breakfast for Malaysian.. definitely I will see someone in my office having that for breakfast and also the long queue at the nasi lemak stall..

My friend brought me to this nasi lemak place on last weekend in Damansara Uptown area.. he said this is one of the popular nasi lemak in PJ.. I saw the long queue and the crowd when we arrived, first thing go get a table to sit then join the queue for the nasi lemak.. there are lot of different type of curry and rendang, chicken, beef, lamb and also sea foods like fish, sotong, 'si ham' and so on.. I am so confused and don't know what to choose.. friend highly recommended me to tyr the fried chicken.. so I order myself a nasi lemak with fried chicken (very big piece..), 'si ham' and fried egg.. the sambal is so spicy but I like it because I am a spice boy, hahaha..!!

The nasi lemak is really yumy yummy.. especially the chicken and the sambal.. I was so damn fulled because the friend chicken is so big.. friend offered me his toast but I really have no space for that in my stomach.. haha!! for sure I will bring friends to visit the nasi lemak again soon.. nice food should be shared right..

The Kite Runner - "For you, a thousand times over.."

'The Kite Runner' - one of the masterpiece of the year.. touching story with great actors..

Hassan and Amir.. both of them working so hard to win the kite competition, and finally they won..!!

Amir teaches his nephew to play kite, after he been brought back to US to start a new life with his wife..

The Kite Runner is one of the best selling novel by Khaled Hosseini.. and this 2007 Academy Award nominated movie is based on the novel and it is directed by Marc Forster (one of my favorite movie - 'Finding Wonderland' is directed by him..) ..

The plot of the movie follows that of the novel. It tells the story of Amir, a well-to-do boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who is tormented by the guilt of abandoning his friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara servant. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan through the Soviet invasion, the mass exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the Taliban regime.

Both the child actors are native speaker and their performance in the movie is brilliant.. particularly I like Hassan as a brave boy who will fight to protect his master Amir.. Another impressive role is Amir's father, baba.. the serious looking father who got disappointed to the son because he wants the son to be a doctor but Amir is more interested become a story writer..

We can also see the situation in Kabul during the period ruled by Taliban.. women have been treated badly like an animal especially in one scene where the Taliban officer threw a big stone to the woman head and cause her died then the rest keep on throwing stones to her dead body, so inhuman.. this is something that happened there but we just couldn't imagine how worst is the situation by the news on tv or newspaper.. in fact this movie really shown us a bit of that..

The highlight of the story is when Amir (when the time he is an adult) is asked to return to Pakistan to meet his father's best friend and he been told that Hassan and his wife are killed by Taliban and Hassan is his brother from different mother.. OMG!! so sad.. so Amir have to risk his life to go back to Kabul to rescue his nephew (Hassan's son) who have been caught by the Taliban officer as a dance boy.. this part is really touching.. and I can't control my emotion, my tears rolled out.. the actor who as adult Amir is doing a nice job here, I really can see his sadness, his upset, his shock and his fear, all the complex emotions in his face..

I love this movie so much..!! the story is touching, the actors are all brilliant, everything is just so fine for me.. I have added it in my favorite movies list.. I like the ending of the movie where Amir brought his nephew back to US and start a new life together with his wife... and the story ended with Amir chase the falling kite for his nephew and said to him "For you, a thousand times over..." when they are kids, Hassan will said this to Amir every time when he chase the falling kite for Amir.. so touching..!!

A Mighty Heart

A true story that will touch your heart.. you can feel the sadness of a pregnant wife expecting the return of his husband, but he is not...

Another movie that I wanted to watch but I have no chance because I am not sure whether this movie is show in cinema here.. anyway I got the dvd on the weekend.. yeah!!

'A Mighty Heart' is a detailed account of the search for kidnapped Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002. Pearl was kidnapped in Karachi by supporters of Omar Sheikh, who claimed responsibility (and was later captured and convicted but is appealing the ruling) for kidnapping and beheading Pearl in 2002. The movie also covers efforts by Department of Justice and Diplomatic Security Service to track the kidnappers and bring them to justice. to find out more about Daniel Pearl, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Pearl

The main actor Dan Futterman as Daniel Pearl only appeared at the beginning part of the movie then he been kidnapped and the rest of the movie are focus on his wife Mariane Pearl played by Angelina Jolie and the research term, particularly I quite like the role of the captain (the local police officer), his acting is really real, especially when he questioning the suspects, wow.. I can really feel the 'power' of a police officer..

Talking about Angelina Jolie.. she is pregnant while making this movie (as her role also a pregnant wife looking for missing husband..).. no doubt she really put lot of efforts in this role, and I have read an article that Mariane Pearl personally chose Angelina Jolie to play the lead in A Mighty Heart because she said "I have heard some criticism about her casting, but it is not about the color of your skin. It is about who you are. I asked her to play the role--even though she is way more beautiful than I am--because I felt a real kinship to her. She put her whole heart into it, and I think she understood why we should do this movie. We had something to say that we knew we should say together."

Overall, it is another serious movie to me.. I can see those journalists really risk their life while doing their jobs in some dangerous places in order to report the news to the world..

Rendition

A serious movie.. the storyline is interesting and make you curious to find out whether the man is innocent.. serious story and great actors..

I have missed the movie when it is shown in cinema here, I bet due to the not so good feedback, its only shown for a quite short period, by the time I wanna watch it, its already no more.. I have seen the trailer of this movie and it is very interesting.. beside that, I quite like Jake Gyllenhaal.. so I was a bit upset that I missed the show..

I found the dvd of this movie last weekend, wow.. so happy.. basically the movie is about...

A pregnant wife Isabella is expecting the return of his husband Anwar (Egyptian-born who live in America) from South Africa.. but his husband doesn't not appear at the end.. so Isabella started to find out what has happened and why his husband gone missing.. actually Anwar has been arrested and sent to a secret detention facility in North Africa as a suspect of suicide bomb attack in North Africa and, according to phone records the known terrorist Rashid has made a phone call to Anwar..

For lack of more experienced staff, Freeman is assigned the task of observing the interrogation of Anwar by Abasi. It is accompanied by torture. After Freeman briefly questions and tortures Anwar himself, he is convinced of Anwar's innocence. However, his boss insists that the detention continues, justifying such treatments as necessary to save thousands from becoming victims of terrorism. Eventually Anwar confesses to have advised on how to make more powerful bombs, and to have been promised $40,000 in return. However, Freeman believes it is a false confession. Without consent of his superiors he orders Anwar's release and lets him escape through a clandestine trip by ship to Spain and return to his family at last..

At the same time, there is another story about Khalid and Fatima in North Africa shown in parallel.. and it shown the actual story behind the suicide bomb attack, a sad love story here and both of them died in the bomb attack.. in this story also shown how Khalid and his frens brain washed by those terrorist attack leader..

Overall it is a serious movie.. I enjoyed it and it creates a lot of space for your imagination whether Anwar is involve in the bomb attack.. all the actors and actresses in the movie have done a great job especially Jake Gyllenhaal as Freeman who believed that Anwar is innocent.. Anwar played by Omar Metwally also done an excellent job as an innocent man who been tortured badly.. and of coz the pregnant wife played by Reese Witherspoon who desperately looking for her missing husband is great too.. the only question of the movie is.. The record of a phone call supposedly made by Rashid to Anwar is not explained in the film, although it is mentioned that phones are sometimes passed on from one person to another, and that in South Africa, while Anwar's phone was off, there had been a call to it from an unknown person..

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

I didn't expect much on this movie.. honestly, to me the first Narnia movie 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' was a so-so movie to me only, as not as excited as other though.. the new character in this movie is Prince Caspian, who have to run away from the castle because his uncle King Miraz is sending a term of army to kill him.. the story is simple and easy to follow.. no much excitements and surprises.. to me, the most interesting part is the river/water monster appeared at the end to destroy the army and the bridge..

Honestly, I really feel bored with the acting of those main roles in the movie, sorry to say that.. none of them really show at least a bit of acting skills here, I know that the main point in the movie is not about the acting skills, but at least they should have a little bit.. the outstanding role in the movie would be the rat(sorry, I have forgotten his name..) but he is cute and brave in the way, especially when he kills those army in the jungle by hiding himself in the grass.. wow.. I am really curious what the hell is that.. jeng! jeng! it is a rat.. OMG!! so damn funny.. beside that the narnian (the good one, forgotten his name also..) also another interesting role in the movie..

I was freezing in the cinema while watching the show.. I am wondering why there is aircon came out underneath my seat..?? I am with slipper and short.. my legs keep on shaking and my fren asked me to stop shaking my legs but I can't stop it because.. it is too cold and it is auto shaking..haha.. really torture with the super cold in the cinema for 2.5 hours..

Hard Candy - Madonna

'Hard Candy' is Madonna’s eleventh, and final, studio album for Warner Bros.. and it has released in 28 April 2008 in most of the countries included Malaysia where I got my copy on that day as well.. I have been waited for 2.5 years since her previous album 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' which is still one of my favorite album where I am still listening to it now.. a head-spinningly good dance music and I still love 'Jump' and 'Sorry' very much now.. I bet it is one of the best Madonna's album ever..

Talking about 'Hard Candy', after playing the album again and again.. most of the tracks are not really impressive, the music are more into hip-hop beat.. and some of the tracks can get bored quite fast.. I have to say it is only an OK album for me so far.. can't beat the brillion 'Confessions......'

My favorite track in the album is still the first single '4 Minutes' featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland.. the beat and tempo of this track is billion.. a super great debut job done by them to produce such a great track.. too bad this track doesn't reach No.1 in Billboard Hot 100 chart, it's only at No.3, what a waste that such a great song can't make it to the top..

'Give It 2 Me' is my second favorite track.. the pop tempo is cool and the way Madonna deliver the song is so fun and really in the pop mood when listening this track.. a great song to play when you are boring.. 'Candy Shop' is great too.. I really like it when Madonna sing 'My sugar is raw...' its kind of sexy and seductive.. haha..!! other outstanding tracks are 'Voices' and 'Dance 2night'..

The tracks that I found boring are 'She's Not Me', 'Heartbeat' and 'Incredible'.. the more I listen to these tracks the more I feel boring and sleepy... I will skip these 3 tracks now, seriously..

Overall, it is not a so sweet album as the title 'Hard Candy', a bit of bittersweet because of some boring middle tempo tracks.. one thing to mention is, Madonna still looks hot and sexy with her age in the cover.. I bet the reason is she did the anti-aging yoga to maintain the young look and nice body (look at her nice bicep.. wow!!)

She is - the Sexiest Miss Universe ever..

The Sexiest Miss Universe ever - Jennifer Hawkins, Miss Universe 2004

She is Jennifer Hawkins from Australia and she won the Miss Universe 2004.. She is the second Australian to win the Miss Universe title (the first was in year - 1972), although it has been 4 years since she won the title but till now she is still one of the favorite Miss Universe, even the Miss Universe co-owner 'Donald Trump' described Hawkins as "the most beautiful Miss Universe I have seen in many, many years" over her victory..

Here to share some pictures of Jennifer Hawkins, as the sexiest Miss Universe ever.. find out more about Jen in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Hawkins

they are WONDER WOMAN..

There is a very funny fact in my current gym.. I am talking about those instructors who are conducting Body Pump classes in the gym, it seems like the female instructors are more powerful and more tough then male instructors, haha.. especially the two female Body Pump instructors who are conducting the evening class on Tuesday and Wednesday..

Let's start with the Tuesday's Body Pump instructor, call her Ms.M.. she is short hair and quite tough body, she always like to play those tough tracks to torture us.. I have noticed that she always like to make the bicep, chest and squat tracks very hard, and make all of us sweat and scream out. haha.. really torture one lo and can really feel the pain!! beside that, she always encourage us to challenge ourselves by increasing extra weights.. as an instructor, she hardly make mistake in the class and she always give us an impression that she is very steady, strong and well prepare before start the class.. although she looks a bit cool but a nice person if you get to know her..

Wednesday Body Pump instructor is Ms.PS.. she got long hair, tall and can consider lean.. another instructor who like to torture us.. we like to scream at her when she make mistake in the class like lost count.. we are naughty students.. haha!! don't judge her by her physical appearance, the weight that she carries may surprise you, another strong instructor.. she is a friendly person and can see her smiling face most of the time..

I mentioned both of them here because I really enjoy the classes done by them, although it is torture but can really feel the muscle is working and getting more firm.. beside that I do like them because I can feel the passion of both of them as an instructor while conducting the class.. so to me they are WONDER WOMAN in Body Pump class.. GIRL POWERRRRR....!!!

FREE SEATS vs 0 FARES

I bet one of the hottest topic now will be the war of 'FREE SEATS (Airasia) VS 0 FARES (MAS)'.. you can see them everyday in newspaper by 'showing off' their best offers to attract more customers.. and they will try to come out more attractive slogan everyday, like I seen in Airasia 'Smart consumers know the difference. Do your math, the numbers don't lie.' on the other hand MAS came out with this 'Everyday low fares. Fly 5-star and get VALUE!' .. haha!! interesting ha..!!

Firstly, Airasia has been doing a super great jobs recent years by offering cheap fares.. they really work so hard towards their slogan 'Now Everyone Can Fly' and to me they have achieved that!! talking about myself, with the offers from Airasia I manage to travel more, few times to Bangkok, to Bali, to Phuket and upcoming trip to Siam Rep.. beside that, they have a lot of promotions fly to Indonesia where it really benefits those Indonesian workers or maids in Malaysia manage to travel back home more often..

Talking about MAS, sorry I don't know what is their slogan.. haha!! I been flied with MAS only few times to Sydney, Melbourne and New Delhi quite long time ago.. and I still remembered that I got their offer fares at MATTA fair.. MAS fare is always more expensive even compared to SIA(Singapore Airlines), honestly if I have second choice I won't fly with them.. I bet you guys must have still remembered MAS admitted they have make lost of billions and needs support from government instead to continue their operations, even heard that they have to rent out their own MAS building.. another issue is the monthly salary of their chairman is like million ringgit.. so now everybody know why they can't make profits..

Back to the war.. now MAS seems like have to downgrade themselves and come out with promotions to grab more customers, as you can see in their '0 fares' slogan, they are selling their free food on board, free 20kg baggage allowance and assigned seat which Airasia do not provide those facilities.. but few frens have commended that the MAS website is very difficult to get in and damn slow, after a few attempts and they have give up..!! giving promotions but can't access the website, what's the point then..??

As for Airasia, I have to admit that so far their website is working well.. and I saw a survey in newspaper few months ago regarding what Malaysian buy most online (online shopping) and Airasia is at No.1 with 65%, so you can see the popularity..!! I am not sure who will win in this war, but as a customer.. we will juz go to the best offers..

Glad to see the pakcik again after so long..

You may still remember the malay pakcik that I mentioned in one of my old post before.. Its been quite long time (about 3 months) that I didn't meet him in the morning.. not to say miss him but juz wish to greet him in the morning..

Finally he appears again twice on last week.. as usual, he will smile and say 'good morning..!!' to me when he saw me.. of coz I will greet him back with a smile too.. a big morning smile..haha!! beside that, he will ask whether I have taken my breakfast.. and he will wish me have a good day and god bless me as well.. wow..!! my mood is super great after a short chat with him in the morning.. he really cheer me up in the morning..!! wish that I will meet him in the morning again soon.. keep well pakcik..!! and hope to see you tomorrow morning with the friendly voice and great smile..!!

what a 'stupid testing' on Saturday..

My colleague and I were required to back to office on last saturday for doing a test of the new feature in the BNM system.. based on th test script, the testing will start from 2pm till 6pm.. and at the end, you guess what time I leave office.... I left office at 11.15pm (5 hours delayed..)

We are so angry bcuz we managed to complete all the tasks based on the test script on time, I mean by 6pm.. but we are not allow to do the day end process and go home bcuz the final amount couldn't be produced by BNM.. the worse thing is they should broadcast to us what is the estimated cut off time then at least we can go out for dinner or something instead of juz sit here and waiting.. so we been sitting here and wait for another 5 hours juz for them to produce the final amount..

Actually I have a dinner appointment with frens at 8pm, but due to the delayed, I called and postponed to 9pm, then I called again ask them to go ahead and will join them once I done, and at last after I have completed, I am totally in low battery mood.. juz wanna go home take shower and sleep.. really a 'stupid testing' saturday.. aahhh..!!!

What happens in Vegas (haha..!!)

HAHA..!! HAHA..!! this is what I heard from the audiences while I am watching this movie 'What Happens In Vegas' last night.. the audiences seem going crazy.. the guy who are behind us seems getting over excited by yelling, laughing and shouting.. not only him, it seems like the whole cinema is getting very excited and keep laughing.. haha here!! haha there!! haha everywhere!! so you can imagine how funny the movie is...

Even I was a bit cold before I get into the cinema and I didn't bring any jacket along.. my fren got his jacket but definitely he needs that more then me bcuz he is scared of cold.. so I don't think I can borrow from him.. surprisingly I feel warm in the cinema last night while watching the show, I guess it could be bcuz I keep on laughing and the other audience as well, so the atmosphere is quite warm.. or as what my fren said it could be aircon having some problmes or the weather outside is too hot.. maybe.. bcuz he told me he didn't feel cold at all..

As you know Cameron Diaz is popular in comedy, the most remarkable one is 'There's Something About Mary'.. she did a great funny job in this movie again with the handsome Ashton Kutcher as a couple which got marriages accidentally and regretted the next day.. but they are so lucky and got the jackpot of USD3M, so in order to get the money they both have to try to become a lovely couple in 6 months time.. and within the 6 months, lot of funny things happened..

Anyway, this is a funny and happy movie.. so if you are bored with the technology innovations type of superhero movie - 'iron man', so go for this one.. sure it will make you laugh and forget all the boring stuffs for the 2 hours in cinema.. get your tickets and get it there to laugh, yell or you can even shout it out..!!

Yup! YOGA makes me sleep better..

Yoga.. yoga.. yoga.. this thing has been in my mind since I started my new gym few months ago.. but juz though of it with no action.. Angie has been asking me to join her for yoga few times and she also has told me the benefits that she got from yoga.. but I juz can't make up my mind to join.. actually my main concern is bcuz I worried that my body is not flexible and I couldn't bend, and I can't do certain positions that requested by the instructor.. it is quite embarrassing lo..!!

Finally, I have make up my mind and give myself a try to attend yoga lately.. there are few different types of yoga available in my gym, such as 'gentle yoga', 'hatha yoga', 'astanga yoga', 'power yoga' and so on.. basically the different is the level of difficulties.. since I am beginner, so I have started with 'gentle yoga' which is like the foundation of yoga.. actually, I can do better then what I am expected in the class beside some positions which are really killing me.. the instructor is good bcuz he will walk around in the class to check our position and correct us, but one problem with him is, he is Indian from India.. his Ing-lish is quite difficult to catch what he said, so I will juz look at people beside me to make sure what is the next pose.. haha..!!

Anyway, it is quite fun and I am enjoying the class although some positions are too hard for me.. tell u what what... as what Angie told me, I really sleep very well that night after yoga, sleep like a pig.. haha..!! but I woke up in the next morning, my whole body is pain.. so I believed I am doing the right thing, and didn't pose wrongly.. wakaka.. I will definitely go for more 'gentle yoga' before I can start to join the next level... Happy yoga!! let's pose..!!

pancake mania..

ZuZen with the banana walnut caramel pancake.. it servers with vanila ice-cream.. this is 'must-try' pancake..

Blueberries pancake.. it server with butter and blueberries jam.. a thumb up from Angie..

Me with my bubble ice lemon tea tarik.. still not sure is it been tarik or not but where the bubble come from..?? it does look like beer, haha..

Do u like pancake? YES, I am..!! I have to admit that I am a pancake lover.. especially during my college time, I use to have pancake with jam or butter or honey for my breakfast at least 3 times a week.. It is so easy to prepare pancake, juz get a packet from supermarket and prepare it yourself as easy as cooking maggi mee.. I have stop making pancake for my breakfast since I started to work bcuz every morning have to rush to work and no time for that, but occasionally I will still have pancake if I found it in any restaurant..

I have found this 'Pancake House International' in Pavilion last weekend, I juz can't stop myself and browsing the menu.. Wow!! they are so many different choice of pancakes available, they have something sweet and also some server with beef or sausage.. So without thinking too much, my frens and I decided to try the pancakes..

We have ordered the blueberries and the banana walnut caramel pancake, wish can order more but we juz had our dinner, so stomach really can't fill with more pancake.. haha!! As what we have expected, both the pancakes taste really good, so yummy.. definitely we will come to visit this pancake house again soon, very soon... I have ordered an ice lemon tea, funny thing is.. the ice lemon tea is with lot of bubbles on top, it looks like ice lemon tea tarik, haha..!! but it still taste the same and not as what my said said it should taste smoother since it has been tarik..!! haha..!!

Thanks to Angie and ZuZen to be the pancake's model for my photos.. u girls look as sweet as the pancakes..wakaka..!!

Iron Man (fly up up to the sky..!!)

I am not a fan of comic beside I read superman comic book on my young age.. so, to me iron man is not really someone familiar and I don't know how powerful he is.. the action movie Iron man showing in cinema now is based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Iron Man..

I seen the trailer of this movie and this super hero looks really cool with the red + gold iron made outfit and he can fly like an aeroplane in the sky.. wow!! he is damn cool.. I always like those superhero who can fly in the sky like superman.. haha.. I don't know why, but to me I juz feel that superhero should be able to fly in the sky..

We are quite lucky to be able to get the tickets for the show at last minutes as I know this movie is very hot now and sure very difficult to get tickets unless advance booking.. I was wondering why they chosen this guy (the main actor) as iron man bcuz he not really have the super hero look and he don't have a hunky superhero's body alsol.. and frankly, he looks a bit old as superhero as well.. haha..!! I mean I had this feeling after the trailer.. Well, I've found the answer in the movie.. In the movie, the iron man - Tony Stark is a middle-age billionaire who is an expert in weapon innovation and being the pioneer in the weapon industry.. So the film director need someone at his middle-age to act as iron man in this movie.. no doubt the actor (Robert Downey Jr) is a charming guy and the more u look at him the more u will feel that he is macho.. I think he is a perfect choice as iron man bcuz beside the charming look, he does look like someone with brain.. haha!!Another highlight in the movie is Gwyneth Paltrow, its been quite a while didn't see her in any movie, it is good to see her again although the role of her in this movie is juz like a supporting actress.. Hope to see her in another movie with a better role soon..

Overall it is an entertaining movie.. the iron man is really a superhero to me bcuz he is even more powerful flying in the sky then superman (he flies from US to Afghanistan and back to US again..) haha!! Don't miss this one, sure u will enjoy the 2 hours in the cinema with iron man..!!

My no.100 post..!! YEAH...!!

Wow..!! finally I reached my no.100 post.. really can't believe that I can make it as this far.. I started my very first post in 17 October 2007.. and it took me about 7 months to reach no.100.. and its about 14 posts per month.. I really surprised that I can make it bcuz when I started I do not really have confident then how far I can go.. bcuz i saw some blogs have not been updated after sometime. it could be the blog's owner are busy or they really have nothing to share at their blog.. frankly, I am definitely worried this will happen to my blog.. I think what drive me keep writing is bcuz it has become part of my routine or habit to update my blog, I will feel happy when some of my frens who give their commends after reading my post or some posts that they feel funny.. some even scolded me that I am a bit 'bitchy' on what I have wrote in my post.. haha!! Anyway no matter it is good or bad and I will still accept it..

Most of my posts are movie reviews and foods.. that's mean these two things play a very important role in my daily life.. haha! anyway all those reviews are my own opinions to share with my frens, don't take it too seriously..

Well, I would like to thanks my frens who have visited my blog, and please come to visit again when u r bored and wanna find something to read or laugh.. of coz u are most welcome to leave your commend here.. sharing ma..!! my wish now is I wish I can make it another 100 posts in 7 months later.. and also hope u guys will enjoy reading my blog..!!

Happy 100 posts - N's sharing..!!

Labour Day = Eating Day

1st of May is Labour Day and it is a public holiday in everywhere in the world (I guess.. ) it is on Thursday and some of my frens and colleagues taking a day off on the next day, so they can enjoy 4 days off (a long weekend)..

Its been quite long time I didn't go eat dim sum for breakfast so we have planned to go eat dim sum on Labour Day's morning for our breakfast.. since the place we gonna go is very popular in order to avoid the crowd and wasting time to wait for table, so we are so 'kiasu' and decided to meet in town at 8am then go to the dim sum place.. OMG!! it almost the time that I go to work in the morning.. public holiday still have to wake up so earlier.. we are really 'siao' ha bcuz of the dim sum.. we manage to reach the dim sum place before 8.30am and without any surprise, it is so pack but luckily we still manage to get an empty table.. well.. we found that the dim sum not really nice like it used to be.. the taste juz so so only, not so special and seems like can get this kind of dim sum everywhere.. we are dissapointed lo.. and I felt a bit regret to wake up so early but ate something like this also.. sigh...

After dim sum, we are unhappy with what we ate so we went to the oldtown white coffee nearby for 'yum cha', as usual I ordered my favorite hazelnut coffee... mmm... it really taste good!! and we ordered a toast to share as well.. we all felt much better now..!! next we went to fren's apartment to rest.. we all are damn sleepy after ate so much and due to wake up so early in public holiday.. so, before everybody fall into sleep (haha..!!), we went to sg.wang plaza .. fren go do his haircut and I went shopping with another fren.. after we have done and it's already 2pm, and we felt a bit hungry.. but we couldn't make up our mind.. what to eat?? fren suggested to go for KFC before gym.. I had the BBQ cheezy melt, yummy.. after the KFC everybody seems so sleepy and lazy.. we even though of skipping gym and go home.. haha!! but at last we still manage to overcome the devil of laziness and go to gym for some cardio workout..

It was damn good after the workout.. frens wanna go shopping again in topshop bcuz there are having discount, so spent sometime with them and they seem quite enjoying the sale there, trying this and trying that.. haha!! so next is.. dinner!! we went to pasar malam for the yummy pan mee.. it was so nice to eat the pan mee with extra pork meat balls.. yummy..!!

Wow.. we really eat and eat and eat in Labour Day.. I felt not so guilty bcuz at least I have spend 2 hours workout in gym to burn some calories.. haha.. HAPPY LABOUR DAY..!!
