sharing some of my favorite photos taken in Nepal, Nov 2003

Here to share some of my favorite photos taken in Nepal, Nov 2003.. most of the photos here are with human faces and their beautiful smiles.. to me, it delivers me a message that even their life might be hard but they still face it and live it happily.. although it seems like something easy but it is a very big lesson for us to learn in our living environment..

Jeng! Jeng! This is my favorite photo... mummy carrying her baby boy at her back in Pokhara.. mummy look so happy with beautiful smile and baby open his big eyes big big while taking this photo..haha!! lovely!! ...BEAUTIFUL MOTHER's LOVE..

The lady selling peanuts in Pokhara, she looks familiar to me because her dressing just like an indian lady here.. but of coz she is from Nepal..

The lady with her 2 sons selling veggi and fruits in Pokhara.. the boys are getting very excited when taking this photo, cute...

This photo was taken from the bus in Kathmandu.. i like this photo very much, everything just look so nice in this photo..

The main street in Pokhara, the guy selling music instrument and he can plays it well too..

The busy Kathmandu street, it seems like their magazine variety are much better than us..

When we stop for toilet break on the way to Pokhara.. I saw this lady carrying a big basket supported by her head, and she is so kind to post for me.. haha!!

Durban Square, Kathmandu.. a group of old ladies are singing or chanting.. their voice sound so peaceful to me..

This colorful photo was taken in one of the temple in Kathmandu.. I think what he is doing is sewing the colorful praying flat..

I have spent lot of time and efforts to modify and create this photo!! all the faces are taken by me in my Nepal trip.. I used Microsoft Photo Editor to cut out every single photo and join them into one.. I am quite happy with the outcome (first attempt), and hope u guys like it too..

cable car in langkawi

I have heard about the cable car in langkawi from frens and most of them who been up there said the view from top is nice... even the cable ticket cost RM25 per adult.. so before my recent langkawi trip, i have told my travel mates that i must go for the cable car, it is 'A MUST' for this trip.. others like island hopping, eager view, telaga tujur and etc, i don't mind to skip coz been there on my previous langkawi trips...

finally we are in the cable car station, yeah!!!! the cable car station is located in a park name 'Langkawi Geopark', there is a man make lake in the middle of the geopark, and surrounding by some souvenir shops and restaurants.. there are still lot of construction works going on, and it seems like they are buil up a hotel there.. frankly, the noises from the costructions are a bit irritating.. we didn't spend much time in the park, just walk around the lake..

surprisingly the queue in the cable car station is not long, we are expected its gonna long coz of school holiday.. we got our tickets (at the price of RM23, the airasia travel agent gave us RM2 discount) and join the queue to wait for our turn to get in the cable car..

the view while going up to the mountain (Guning Machinchang) is nice, my fren who scared of height seems like enjoying himself too, he might forgotten the fear by the beautiful view.. haha!!

finally we reached the first stop (there are 2 stops), we got out from the cable car and feel excited because of the fresh air and beautiful view.. nothing much there, just a platform for viewing..

we get in the cable car and continue to the second stop.. nothing much there as well.. actually we plan to have hot coffee when we reach the top, we were thinking there should be a coffee shop up there for us to relax to enjoy the fresh air, the view and the coffee.. (we are thinking this way because there are coffee shops on top of Table mountain in Cape Town and we really enjoy the coffee when we were there last time..) guess what..?? there is no coffee shop at all and only one malay stall selling ice cream and soft drinks, and the sitting place also not proper built.. we all got so fed up.. my fren said 'this is malaysia-lah... wat u expect..??' haha.. he is right!! absolutely right..!! and we found a foot massage services there too, 2 chairs (not even a massage chair) and the chairs just in the public view point there, not even a proper setup... huh....

the sky is getting darker and it should be time for us to make a move down.. finally we reached the bottom safely... although we got disappointed of the coffee shop but overall the cable car trip is nice and RM25 is worth for that..

another thing is.. the view from the top is not only nice... it is damn nice..!!! haha...

attached some photos here, hope u guys like it....!!

chocolate ~~ mania

Although i like chocolate very much and can considered myself as a chocolate's fan... but not till really crazy like a chocolate mania because i scared of getting fat fat (because i am always a bit fat fat... haha!!).. usually i will keep some chocolates at home in case when i really in the mood to eat chocolate than i can find it at home.. (for emergency-lah... haha!!) but normally i will allow myself to have it once or twice a week and usually during the weekend...

for my recently langkawi trip.. i noticed that prices of chocolates there really cheap! cheap! cheap! at lesst 40 - 50% cheaper than here... OMG!! arrrr..... so without thinking too much i juz grab whatever i like.. guess what i have spent almost rm200 juz for chocolates.. OMG! am i silly??? after getting those chocolates i have a headache to put all the chocolates inside my backpack coz i would prefer to put everything inside my backpack and not carrying any plastic bags with me when i am leaving home... at last.. i manage to put everything inside my backpack.. ohhhh.... thanks GOD!!

so i think for doing that once in a while is ok-lah...!!! at least i can't do it here and i think the next time i can do it again would be in my next langkawi trip again... tell u guys.. i just read from newspaper recently, eating dark chocolate is good for our health... and eating chocolate can make u happy too...!!! so guys... u should have some chocolates to cheer up your life... as long as not over taken, else if u fat fat... don't come to kick my backside... haha!!!

flying with kids...

I am flying to Langkawi on monday.. I known it is school holiday now and expected will be pack because lot of parents will bring their kids for holiday.. when i am at LCCT, OMG!! i saw lot of kids running here and there, making noise.. the LCCT getting more happening than usual with all the kids in house, haha...

when i am inside the departure hall.. the queue in my gate is so damn long, and no choice i have to queue at the back.. guess what..?? 50% in the queue are kids... i was telling my friend we better find a seat which we can avoid the kids because i have few experiences before when sitting near to kids or baby, usually they will make noise or cry in the journey, sorry to say that it is really irritating especially in long hours flight...

coz we are at the back of the queue, so when we are inside the aircraft, almost all seats are occupied, so there is no way we can avoid the kids bcuz they are everywhere.. haha.. finally we found empty seats and our front, back and side are kids... haha.. my friens make a joke said "the more i wanna avoid them, the more i will close to them!!" haha... he is definitely right!!

during the journey, as what i have expected, kids making noise, running to toilet, jumping, asking this and that.... not even one second inside the aircraft is silent...

here are something that i heard inside the aircraft:- (juz to share)

daddy said "boy! come.. look down the window, u see the house, tis is the house we are staying..."

daddy said "boy! what u want to eat?? girl! are u hungry??"

mummy said "boy! come on.. sit down.. later the cer cer will come to scold u.. "

kid said " daddy! daddy! i want shh.. shh.."

kid said "daddy! daddy! i can see the ship" (the kid saw ships in the ocean from the aircraft)

anyway, although it is noisy for the whole journey but it is quite fun also flying with kids for once in a while (when i fly back to KL, the same thing happened again, but this time kids are lesser, so noise is lesser too.. haha...)

pakcik : GOOD MORNING...!!

Lately i always saw a malay pakcik (he should be in his 60s, tall, slim and grey color short hair, and with a black frame spec) in the morning when i am about to walk out from the main gate from my apartment.. he always sit on a short chair at the public garden, and most of the time he is holding or reading 'the star' newspaper.. i first noticed him about 2 months back.. initially he will smile to me (i bet he smile to most of the people passing by him..) and i always smile back..

Recently when he saw me passing by, he will said GOOD MORNING to me with his smiling face.. the GOOD MORNING and smile really cheer up me to start my day!! he even said 'taken your breakfast??' to me when i saw him 2 days ago... i always smile and wish him GOOD MORNING as well and of coz with my lovely smile also... wakaka... opppsss...

Anyway, i hope i can have chance to talk more to him because i am always in the rush to work when we met in the morning.. wish the pakcik - stay happy and healthy!!

gifts fr HK..

Remembered in one of my previous post I mentioned about two of my friends went for their company trip at the same time..?? guess what...?? both of them get sick - fever, cough and flu after having happy time, must be over enjoyed!! haha..

The friend who went HK bought me the eason chan latest cd (which i asked him to get it for me).. the cd packaging is damn cool.. a cardboard cut into t-shirt shape, and it comes with many different colours.. he got me the red one because he said he like red.. aiks!! anyway it is alright for me because the red is cool..

beside that, he bought me the ELLE 20 anniversary special edition November 2007 issue.. you must be asking why am i interested on this issue.. because of 20 years?? nope!nope! the reason is because the cover is my favorite icon -MAGGIE CHEUNG - 张曼玉.. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maggie_Cheung) OMG!!! i am damn happy about it because Maggie looks fantastic 0n the cover, and her photos inside the magazine are cool... super super cool.... arghhhhhh...................

Lions for Lambs

'BORING and UNENTERTAINING AT ALL.....'

I watched this movie last saturday night with friends.. initially we are still thinking whether to watch this one or 'Stardust'.. saw the trailer of 'Stardust' and not really interested on it so much.. never seen the trailer of 'Lions for Lambs'.. just known that it is a movie about the war between US and Iraq.. finally we decided to go for this one due to the actors in this movie are suppose should be great.. especially Meryl Streep (who don't like her... everybody even like her more after 'The devil wears prada'...)

Here are the plot of the movie :-
Lions for Lambs begins after two determined students at a West Coast University, Arian (Derek Luke) and Ernest (Michael Pena), follow the inspiration of their idealistic professor, Dr. Malley (Robert Redford), and attempt to do something important with their lives. But when the two make the bold decision to join the battle in Afghanistan, Malley is both moved and distraught. Now, as Arian and Ernest fight for survival in the field, they become the string that binds together two disparate stories on opposite sides of America. In California, an anguished Dr. Malley attempts to reach a privileged but disaffected student (Andrew Garfield) who is the very opposite of Arian and Ernest. Meanwhile, in Washington D.C. the charismatic Presidential hopeful, Senator Jasper Irving (Tom Cruise), is about to give a bombshell story to a probing TV journalist (Meryl Streep) that may affect Arian and Ernest's fates. Written by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer

My conclusion of this movie is 'Boring and unentertaining at all........', get very disappointed!! Meryl Streep who is still the best among all 3, i like the way she interviewing Tom Cruise.. the words she used, the way she asking questions and her face expression are cool... but just that, she always look tired in the whole movie.. which makes me tired looking at her too.. haha!! for Tom Cruise, nothing special about his role beside he knows how to hard sell his sexy eye sign.. haha!! Robert Redfort's role is very boring.. i don't like to see his face neither he talks.. by the way this movie is directed by him as well, no wonder so boring...

Anyway, no recommended this movie to any of my friend... because i worried they might come to kick my back... haha!!

my super *short short* hair

As usually i did my hair cut once a month.. I always keep my hair short because it is easy to take care and also due to gym (more clean and hygiene .. )

I done mine 2 weeks ago, and my friend (the hair stylist) suggested to cut it shorter than usual (I was thiking all the time my hair is short, shorter mean... almost bold!!.. haha!!) anyway i have accepted his suggestion and let him do it for me... OMG!! after he has done... i was really shock!! i can't even work out my courage to step out from the salon.. it is damn weird and trendy to me at that moment..

As what i have expected, when i was walking on the street, a lot of people will look at my hair, especially those middle age group, haha... when i back to work, colleagues said whats wrong with me?? i did the hair cut due to stress..?? or am i depressed..?? hey colleagues... u guys thinking too much lah.....

When i am in the gym, at least there are friends said that my hair is nice... finally i heard something good and someone appreciated my hair.. haha!!

Anyway, i am get used to my hair and it is getting longer now... which i think it looks much nicer than when i just done.. guess what....?? i was thinking to cut it even shorter next round, perhaps the shortest before.. haha.. let's see whether do i have the courage to do it or not before the end of 2007!!

thinking of change for my gym..

last saturday i was talking with a gym mates, he was saying that he just bought a burn fat gel to apply on his abs after the workout.. basically this gel will helps to burn more fat than usual.. it sounds quite interesting to me because i always wanna have a flat abs.. although i do a lot of cardio and sit up but my abs seems like still the same, always a little tummy there which is very irritating... while i am really interesting to know more about the product than he told me the price... OMG!! it costs RM200+ and one bottle only can use for about 3 weeks.. that is too much for me.. i know although i use the gel but i still need to watch my diet.. else i can't expect a big improvement..

beside abs... i do wish to have a bigger ot nicer shape of bicep and chest.. i do body pump classes and i do free weight training too (2 times a week..) but again.... i don't see any improvement on that.. i know the reason is because i didn't take any protein supplementary which will help your muscle grow bigger... i know no matter how hard i do, i still won't get a nice bicep and chest if i didn't take the supplementary.. so i am thinking whether should i give myself a try to take the supplementary?? heart from my friend at the initial stage your body might not get use to it and you may have some side effects, so he advised me that if i really wanna take supplementary than i should take more fruits or fruit juice to reduce the impact..

well, i am still considering about the protein supplementary.. should i have a try or should i just stay with what i am having now... no pay no gain.. no pay no beauty.. aiks.....!!

a boring weekend (nice sunday afternoon)

last weekend (3 & 4, November) was a boring weekend for me.. because two of my regular gym buddies went for their company trip.. they are not working in a same company but just happen that both of the company planned to have their company trip at the same time.. (is it a good period for travlling??)

since two people is missing, so i force myself (haha...) to go to gym to attaned a morning body combat class on saturday morning than continue with body jam class.. the mood is not really HIGH!! because lack of jokes and funs!! but at least i still manage to get sweat...

on sunday, i have decided not to go gym... not even think of force myself.. because i know if i go definitely its gonna waste my time, definitely i won't enjoy the classes at all and i will make lot of mistake in the class... because my mind and my body are not communicating... my mind is somewhere although physically i am in the gym... anyway i do have a nice sunday afternoon by having drinks and sushi with a few friends which we didn't meet up for quite a while... hope that we will meet up more in future..

the act of talking...

i am having a friend or gym mate which we have known each other for about one year plus.. she was introduced to me by another gym mate.. we are quite click because we are having the passion and interest in doing aerobic classes.. usually we (not only she and i, about 4-5 of us) will go dinner after weekend classes and we all even travel together before.. so we all can considered as regular friend.. (i don't address her as close friend because to me close friend is someone that i will share my secret with him/her...) and regular friend is >> someone that we meet often and we spend time together for laughing, gossip, finding nice eating places and so on...

as time goes by.. we have noticed that she really lack of the act of talking.. give u an examples.. when we are giving our idea and she always have something to say about our idea and she stand very firm for her own opinion, even for a very simple thing like - where to have dinner... of coz she can always give her own opinion but.. come on la!!!! can she just say it out in a more proper way, we know she doesn't really mean that but just... just... the way she talk is irritating!! and can really make us get angry sometime...

another example which just happened recently, one of our friend is going for island holiday soon, and guess what...?? she told the friend make sure she grab a life jacket once she get into the ferry... omg!! we all are laughing like mad behind her (ya! we are bad guys..) we know that her intention is good because of the ferry accident happened recently.. sure we all have to be more alert and careful when we are taking ferry.. but just that the way she say it is too serious, especially her face expression is really like giving us a lesson... haha!!

beside her, i do met some of the people who are having the same behavior.. of coz i know that some of them do not have any bad intention when they say it, just that they do not know how to deliver their message in a proper way where the listener can get what you are trying to say beside that also can feel that you are saying it from your heart..

so now, how can we improve our talking skill...?? to me, i will try to talk more with the person who i think he/she really have the good talking skill and try to learn some from them.. of coz the talking skill that i said here is not from those direct salesperson or insurance agent who are damn good in convince you..

it is not about what you talk... it is more about how to deliver your message in a proper way that the listener can feel and appreciate it..

Krabi trip - CANCELLED

i been planning to go Krabi (east southern part of Thailand) with friend somewhere in November.. unfortunately it has to be cancelled because my freind couldn't make it...

why i wanna go Krabi...?? the main reason is i am planning to go for a short 5 days holiday to somewhere near and cheap, i always like beach and sea... so Krabi pop up in my mind because airasia go holiday offering quite a cheap fare for air ticket and accommodation.. in fact i been passed by Krabi about 7 years ago while i am going to Phi Phi island, where we took our ferry from the port in Krabi.. what i still remembered about Krabi is there are lot of limestone cliffs around and t is popular with cliff climbing (see the photo attached) and water activities... beside that, i have done some research about Krabi too.. and it seems like an ideal place for my year end trip..

too bad... we couldn't make it this time... definitely Krabi will be my next destination, or next, next, next destination...haha!! (because my next destination will be Istanbul - Turkey, working hard to save money now...) i really like to hear from those who have been there, share with me how is your stay in Krabi... appreciated..!!

resident evil : extinction (Milla Jovovich@Alice)

i have watched the trailer of this movie few months ago... very impressive trailer... she is back again... she is Alice!! opps... should i say she is >> MILLA JOVOVICH http://www.millaj.com/

i am expecting this movie since i have seen the trailer.. because Alice is really a charming role in the previous resident evil movies and i like all her actions, the kicks, the gun shots, and her cool face expression...

i do not expect much on the story of this movie because i know it is Alice fighting with zombies and monsters.. i went for it because of Milla... i just can't wait to see her actions, how many zombie or monster she could kill and how many live she could safe.. i didn't get any dissapointment after the movie, because she really done a great job in the movie.. Alice is still as cool as she used to be.. i really enjoy all the actions from her, especially when she kill those with two knifes.. wow!! she is the hero!!... and one more thing is.. i am excited to know if there is next resident evil movie than how many Alice we will have....?? (check out the end of this movie....)

i know Milla from the movie 'the fifth elements'... her orange hair, her unique english and her sexy white outfit really impressed me a lot.. in that movie, Milla can't fight at all and all the time she is protected by Bruce Willies who is the hero in that movie...

if u never seen the actions from Milla, than u should go for this movie... if u seen before than Alice is fighting like a real fighter this time.. don't miss it!!
