E=MC² by Mariah Carey

After 3 years from 'The Emancipation Of Mimi', Mariah Carey is back with her 11th studio album of her career 'E=MC²'.. 'The Emancipation Of Mimi', Mariah's worldwide 10 million selling no.1 album, which generated three Grammy awards (including Best Contemporary R&B Album), 2 no.1 singles and countless more industry honors during its 18-month stay on the charts.. So Mariah is back to top again after the great achievements of the album..

I bet most of us heard the first single from E=MC² is "Touch My Body", this song is getting very popular in US and it has become no.1 in US billboard 100 chart even before the album released, and it got a lot of air play in our local radio station as well.. u guys know why she chosen this song as her first single from the album..?? any idea?? actually we are guessing maybe bcuz she has slim down quite a lot now and that's why she want us to touch her sexy body.. wakaka!! anyway it is juz our guessing..

Talking about the album 'E=MC²'.. so far most of the reviews are either above average or good (which is a good news for her..) and only those people who dislike her will rate this album as bad.. for my own view, I enjoy this album more then 'The Emancipation Of Mimi'.. there are 14 tracks in the album... mmmm... let's start with the tracks that I dislike most.. 'Thanks 4Nothin'','Love Story' and 'Last Kiss'.. I found all these 3 tracks are damn bored, the rhythm of the songs are boring and she keeps on repeating the chorus again and again.. and make me getting boring and boring..

The tracks which are OK for me are 'O.O.C','I'll be lovin' u long time','For The Record' and 'Touch My Body'.. quite enjoy listening to these few tracks but not something that really can impress me much..

Now the tracks that I like most are.. Jeng!! Jeng!! (in sequence..)

1.Cruise Control - this is first time she sing a reggae-influenced track, I really like the way she sing.. its really reggae..!! this song gave me a picture of we are driving in Jamaica on the summer holiday..!! definitely my no.1 favorite track in this album..!!

2.I'm That Chick - very the 80's disco+pop song and of coz my era of song too.. haha!! I will sing the chorus along every time I am listening it.. I really hope she will make more tracks like this..

3.I Stay In Love - a lovely ballad, the lyric and rhythm of this song is so nice and with her voice.. everything is so smooth and so perfect..

4.Migrate - the beginning part is the highlight of the song.. I like the lyric of the song, it juz sounds like we have lot of fun to do and migrate from one place to another ("From my car into the club we migrate/From the bar to V.I.P. we migrate").. The rap done by T-pain is cool..

5.Side Effects - this song is about her unhappy marriage life with her ex-husband.. from the lyric you can feel the unhappiness of her during that time..

6.Bye Bye - the second single from the album.. again.. the lyric is so touch and it will make us to miss those love one who had passed..

7.I Wish You Well - the very old style Mariah's song.. her voice still sound so great in this song..

Overall, Mariah has done a great job in this album.. to me, the highlight of the album is the lyric of the songs, especially in 'Bye Bye' which may make u cry for remembering someone u loved and had passed.. a great first try for singing reggae track 'Cruise Control' which really is a big surprise to me, and also the great 80's pop+disco track 'I'm That Chick' is another surprised..!!

One thing to mention is the cover of the album.. honestly I don't really like it.. why can't she put on some proper cloths instead of doing something like this (sorry to say that, to me she looks like a porn star more then a diva.. especially the photo at the back on the track list..) another funny fact is, she seems like she can sing better after she slim down.. wakaka..!!

Good news to share.. the 'E=MC²' hit as No.1 with sales of 463,000 copies on the first week in US Billboard Album chart.. congratulation Mariah Carey..!!

about the article 'Friends in fitness'..

I saw this article 'Friends in fitness' in Sunday star newspaper on last Sunday.. after reading the whole article, I am absolutely agreed with the article.. I can apply it into my own gym life.. for a very simple example.. if I am alone in the gym that day, I will feel very very lazy to join the class or even I joined but I still won't really enjoy it much.. it is not due to I am tired or the instructions from the instructor, it is bcuz of my own 'lonely mood'..

Definitely it is more fun to go gym with a few gym buddies then alone.. as it is the motivation to push each of us work harder.. like in the article, Kate Naunheim said 'The only way I make it through was by hanging out with others in the group'.. some may though this way.. if going gym with frens then end up we may talk more then work out.. u may right.. but actually it is much depend on individual.. of cuz my gym buddies and I were talk in the gym but usually when we do class or cardio, we will fully pay our attention on it and work it out.. and we will talk when we either have done or during our break.. another benefit of having gym buddies is.. we can share our health or gym tips among us or even something about diet control, and with all the sharing definitely it will help to achieve our goal in gym faster and at the same time can minimise any injury cause by improper movements during workout.. so now u guys can see the benefits of doing gym together.. so let's RUN-RUN, JUMP-JUMP, KICK-KICK and PUMP-PUMP together.. yeah!! yeah!!

Over Her Dead Body

'This is a not bad movie.. a comedy which giving us a lesson to be 'Big Heart' to someone we love although we can't move on the relationship.. '

I was really surprised that this movie is better then what I have expected.. from the trailer it seems like juz a love comedy between an angle (Eva Longoria) and a human with a guy..

Here is the plot of the movie : -

Kate and Henry are about to be married, but on the day of their wedding, Kate is accidentally killed by an ice sculpture of an angel, after an argument with the sculptor about the lack of wings. After a year Henry reluctantly agrees to consult a psychic named Ashley at the urging of his sister Chloe, arguing that Kate may tell him to get on with his life. Chloe gives Ashley Kate's diary, so that Ashley learns information about Kate which seemingly demonstrates psychic abilities. Despite his initial skepticism over these abilities, Henry is impressed. Moreover, Henry and Ashley fall in love. However, Ashley is being haunted by Kate's ghost, who only she can see. Kate considers it her heavenly duty to break up Henry and Ashley's fledgling romance, as the last thing to do on earth. Constant torment from Kate eventually drives Ashley and Henry apart, but the ghost of the sculptor who created the angel that killed her helps Kate realize that she only wants Henry to be happy. The movie ends with Henry and Ashley getting married and Kate going back to heaven.

An extra storyline is about Asley's assistant Dan who has claimed for years to be gay, allowing him to be Ashley's best friend without sexual connotations. She is upset when Dan confesses to be heterosexual, and to have lied to her because he liked the intimacy, even though it was non-sexual.

Actually the actress and actor in the movie are very familiar to us.. like Eva Longoria is from the famous tv series 'Desperate Housewives', Raul Rudd is the guest star in another famous tv series 'Friends' and of coz Jason Biggs is from the movie 'American Pie'.. The angle 'Eva Longoria' is really a 'chili padi' in the movie, it was so damn funny when she did lot of stuffs to disturb and stop Ashley to go dating with Henry..

In fact the movie gave us a massage that 'when we really can't move on in a relationship with someone we loved due to certain reason, we still have to be 'big heart' and wish that someone that we loved can find another love and stay happily..!!' .. but in real life, human are selfish.. I bet 90% of us can't really do that.. haha!!

I saw the lovely Carmen Soo..

I saw Carmen Soo last night in Delicious in Bangsar Village.. once I step in the restaurant I have noticed her sitting at the corner table with another guy.. I was so excited and purposely choose a table and sit at the corner that I can see her directly.. haha!! there is no much different from what I seen her on tv or magazine and the real person.. she have a very beautiful face, everything look so perfect on her face.. she looks so simple with a little makeup and with a white dress with blue and yellow flowers printed, and a sandal on her feet.. to me, she seems enjoying herself there and she was friendly and quite a polite person too, as she smile to the waitress when she serve her..

Actually I am not really care about those local models or celebrities much, usually juz saw their photos in magazine.. but Carmen Soo is the one who really attract me with her beautiful face.. I like her bcuz to me she is unique then others.. she always look elegant and classy in photos and those tv commercials that she appears.. beside tv commercials, she does a few local films and stage plays as well, the one that I can remember most is the stage play of 'Rose Rose I Love You' which I nearly wanna go to watch that, but I didn't.. beside that she has a boutique in Bangsar with her own collections.. Tell u what.. I really feel like wanna snap her picture by my phone, but I think that is very rude.. so I didn't do it.. wakaka.. maybe I should go there more often then I can see her there again.. hahahaha...

The Forbidden Kingdom - 功夫之王

I bet what attract most of us go for this show is the two superstars - Jet Li and Jacky Chan.. this is the very first time both of them fight in a same movie, so I bet it will definitely attract a lot of audience.. although I have heard bad reviews from frens and newspaper about it, but I try to ignore those reviews and go for the show bcuz of my favorite action hero - Jet Li.. and by not hoping too much of the story and purely just to watch the fighting of Jet Li and Jacky Chan..

Frankly, although I didn't hope so much but I still feel a bit disappointed for the movie.. the story is almost lousy and it is damn funny that at the period of time in China they can speak English.. I know it is an English movie but if they really wanna make it as an English movie then everybody should speak English and not only the main roles are in English but the rest are in Mandarin, weird ha..!! but on the other hand I think the purpose of that is to fulfill both the US and China market..

As what I have expected, the most interesting part in the movie is the fight between Jet Li and Jacky Chan.. that particular fighting scenes is cool and we can really see the 'kung fu' of both of them.. as for Jet Li he always look cool when he fights, to me he looks much lighter and the movements are much faster then Jacky Chan.. of coz Jacky Chan does a great job too but I juz don't really like his face expression when he try to be funny, its a bit over ler.. haha!! I watched an interview of Jet Li talking about this movie on tv, he said this is not something that he wish to do with Jacky Chan, so I bet they will have another one coming in future..

Overall, it is an entertaining movie where we can see some kung fu fighting, jokes, and the five elements mountain in the movie really look great (nice computer works..) this movie is doing very well in US and some Asians countries as well.. sure it will be one of the biggest movie in 2008..

SALE.. again..!!

I remembered last time 'SALE' only happened 3 times a year, which so called 'Carnival Sales' and also 'Year End Sales'.. but look at now..!! it seems like every two months or every single month, there are SALE.. SALE.. SALE..!!

At the point of end user, SALE is something good for us.. we spend lesser money to buy something that we want to.. and also something we not really need it, we buy bcuz it is cheaper then normal price.. so at the end definitely we will spend more.. haha!! but it is a fact that we will buy things when it is SALE, regardless whether u have the intention to buy or not, but for sure during SALE time, we will spend sometime to survey in the mall to look or try to look for something to buy.. as u know, nothing much we can do in KL on the weekend.. beside shopping..!! haha...!!

From my own point of view, most of the department stores having SALE so often now bcuz the economy of the country is quite bad, nowadays people won't simply spend money like last time and the power of spending is not strong.. so they need to have SALE to encourage us to spend money..

It seems like more and more promotions now during the SALE.. the most commend one is cash voucher, extra x-times of point for bonuslink and so on.. juz now i went to Isetan, they even have one receipt exchange one bottle of fruits juice promotion.. wow!! u can imagine they really have to come out with more and more ideas to attract us to spend money in their store..

My colleague and I went to the Starbucks coffee in pavilion this morning for breakfast, and I had tried the Sausage, Egg and Cheese sandwich.. honestly, it taste quite nice especially the cheese is yummy.. but i am not really like the sausage bcuz it is a bit salty to me.. it is quite full to eat the sandwich with the tall size coffee..

We have waited for about 15 mins to get our order bcuz it is quite a lot of people there for the promotion, and there is only two staff on duty.. the management should allocate more staff in morning shift since it is promotion period.. definitely i will go again to try the mushroom, tomato and cheese (since i am mushroom lover..!!) before the promotion end.. go grab one if u don't know what to have for your breakfast..!!

'FREE' McD sausage McMuffin for breakfast..

McDonald's is giving 1 million free sausage McMuffin for breakfast till end of this month.. their crews have distributed the coupon in a few different areas in KL and PJ last week.. i manage to get two coupons when the crews are somewhere in my office area.. actually one person is only given one coupon.. i manage to get two bcuz i met different crews at different areas in the same morning.. how lucky!!.. haha..!!

My colleague have change me two sausage McMuffin yesterday morning for my breakfast.. wow!! it is so nice (maybe it is free.. haha!!) if you have the coupon with u, remember to go to bring the coupon to exchange a delicious yummy! yummy! sausage McMuffin.. it will be nicer to eat that with a cup of hot coffee..

so efficient the 'e-filing'.. surprised!!

Lately when meet up frens, sure they will ask 'Hey! have you done your income tax??..' when come to April every year, sure this question will ask around by frens or colleagues even my sister.. frankly I am very lazy to prepare the income tax form, hate the calculations and what i hate most is to find back all the supporting documents, like invoices and receipts.. actually it's my problem for not keeping them nicely and throw one here and kept another there.. my fren sure will scold me when i am complaining about finding documents.. haha!! OK..!! OK..!! i will be more systematic and file them up and keep in one place..

Till last year i still submit my income tax form, but heard my colleague said i should use 'e-filing', it is easier.. juz fill in the numbers and all calculations done automatically, no need to do manual calculations.. but when talking about 'online stuffs' with government website, my first impression is a bit 'troublesome' lo.. i always found their website are like not well setup and it is quite troublesome to use sometime..

Anyway i have decide to try to use 'e-filing' this year since those who used before have no complains and gave good feedback on it.. guess what..?? it is really easy compare to form.. juz fill in those fugures and all the calculation done automatically.. it really save lot of time and efforts for calculations.. in case u are still not do your income tax, i would highly recommended to try the 'e-filing' way, once u have tried.. sure u will come back again next year.. haha!! hey guys, make sure u do it before end of this month..!!

my favorite - Fish Head Noodle in town..

This is the 'Black and White' fish head noodle.. there are fried and steam fish in side the bowl, look at the soup, it is so yummy...!!

This is the teh ice tarik.. the teh is so smooth and not so sweet as well, highly recommended..

I am not really a big fish head noodle's fan before... before i know this shop... i know this particular fish head noodle place from a fren about 2 years ago.. after the first tried, we all fall in love into it.. particularly i like the soup and every time sure i finished all the soup, haha..!!

There are two type of fish available, either u can choose the fried one and steam one.. usually we will order mixed the fried and steam fish.. they called the fried fish as 'black fish' and steam fish as 'white fish', so when we order, we call it 'black and white fish'.. but i like the steam fish more bcuz it taste more juicy and fresh, and the steam fish is selling faster then the fried one..

The shop is located in Jalan Ikan Emas, Cheras, near bandar Tun Razak.. business hours start at 7am and usually it will finish around 2 pm (weekend may be earlier), there have few more outlets and we have tried the one in Taman Desa but we still prefer the main one in Cheras, seems taste nicer and we visit the shop in every alternate Sunday morning.. please prepare yourself to wait for the table to sit bcuz on weekend there are lot of people, but it won't take so long to get the place to sit, usually its only about 10-15 mins..

The teh ice here is very nice also, it is a teh ice tarik with lot of bubbles on top.. so make sure u order one glass of teh ice and enjoy it with your fish head noodle, mmmm... yummy! yummy!

Felda Residence Hot Spring..(Sungai Klah)

This is the huge hot spring pool, the water is 30C - 50C.. it is damn hot especially when u juz get into the water..

Boiling eggs.. not sure hows the eggs taste.. but I'm sure it will taste good..

The giant octopus is the highlight of the mountain water pool.. the water is cold and refreshing..

The map and directory which will save your time and energy to reach the place u wanna go..

One of my fren heard from his customer that there is a hot spring nearby Sungkai, Perak which is quite a nice and relax place.. my fren who like nature has suggested to make a trip there on the weekend.. before the hot spring tour, i have viewed the website of the hot spring, seriously.. from the website it looks not bad.. it seems quite a nice place for family outgoing activities..

About 2 hours journey from KL, finally we reached the Sungkai's toll and it takes another 15 mins to reach the hot spring, no worries u won't miss it bcuz there are lot of director sign boards point to the hot spring.. RM10 per adult for the entry which is quite reasonable.. basically it is a park which have a few hot spring pools and each one with different temperature (there is a sign of the temperature of the water in each pool).. and beside that there is a big mountain water pool with a big octopus statue, the water is really cold and refreshing, the water is swallow sure kids will like to play water here.. there are also others facilities like massage, spa, sauna and etc..

The park is quite huge and there are some map and directory everywhere to refer to.. as u know it is bloody damn hot to walk in the jungle, in fact it is a jungle.. lot of tress everywhere.. we found the huge hot spring pool and we decided to get boil here, haha!!.. my fren was the first one put his leg in, he said it is not so hot.. but when i put my leg in the water.. OMG!! it is damn hot to me.. anyway i still went into the water like the rest, the formula is try to stay at one spot and don't move around, then u won't feel that hot.. but we can't really spend too long inside the water bcuz i can feel my heart beating faster and faster.. so we out from the water after 15 mins rest for a while then go in again.. honestly the feeling is quite good when i stay quietly in the water and the tempurature of the water is 30C to 50C

Beside that, there is a therapy hot water walk path there.. as a normal therapy walk but wit hot water, i can feel it is much better walking in the hot water with all the small stores.. it really help helps blood circulation.. i am the one who seems enjoy the walk then others.. hehe.. we saw a place calls nature sauna from the directory and first thing in our mind is what is that?? so we follow the direction to check it out.. we saw a small river with lot of smokes, guess what.. we saw a sign there and the water is 99C to 110C.. there is a platform on top of the river and once u stand there, u really can feel the smoke, so that's the natural sauna.. haha!!

There is also a pool for boil eggs, saw few guys boiling their eggs there (opss.. not their eggs la!! what i meant here is they brought some eggs and put inside a basket and put into the water..) definitely they can't go into the boil eggs pool else their eggs really will get boil.. wakakaka..!!

Actually, it is quite a nice place for family activities.. but i don't understand why the local government didn't promote this place, don't talk about tourist don't know this place, even local like us also never heard and seen this place in news or newspaper except from those who been there before.. it is funny ha!! they spent money to build the facilities in the park but never though of promote it.. what really in their mind ha..?? there are some villas in the park for renting and it is quite a good idea to spend 2 days over the weekend there with your family.. for more information, check this out http://www.perak.info/Batang_Padang/sungai_klah_hot_springs.htm

What the biggest challenge in your life?

Miss Universe 2005 - Natalie Glebova (the biggest challenge in life is trying to stay positive..!!) she is absulotely right.. let's stay positive folk..!!

That day, suddenly my fren asking me 'What the biggest challenge in your life?' wow..!! it is a tough question.. i really couldn't give him a specific answer at that moment.. but my answer to him was 'I think the biggest challenge is to face all the unpredictable challenges in my life everyday..!!' is it a good answer..?? he told me that he agreed with my answer bcuz everyone of us really have to face challenges everyday and stay in strong mind to fight and overcome it..

Just to share with u guys, in Miss Universe 2005 pageant, Miss Canada - Natalie Glebova has been asked this question in her final Q and A..

Question: what the biggest challenge in your life?

Answer: that it was trying to stay positive. I considers myself as the kind of person who sees the glass as half-full rather than half-empty and even though sometimes it's difficult to look at life this way, I always tries to maintain a positive outlook on life.

I was so impressed by her answer and if i am one of the judge that night, sure i will give her 10 out of 10 for her answer.. she is absolutely right.. in order to face and fight for all the challenges, firstly we must overcome the biggest challenge 'stay positive!!'...

Frankly, i am quite a negative person especially come to the situation which is out of my control.. usually i will predict the outcome as negative more then positive.. with a negative thinking will indirectly interrupt our spirit of living, and in a more serious case it will cause a low self esteem and make us lost of confident when facing challenges.. so, i tell myself no matter how bad is the situation i must try my very very best to stay in positive to build my self esteem and with a stronger mind sure i can deal with all challenges..!!

My new watch (finally decide to get it..!)

I have been thinking to get a new watch lately due to my previous seiko's watch has broken somewhere last time.. for time being i am wearing a casio old watch, which i found the size seem like a bit small for my hand(is it my hand grown bigger..?? haha..)

I have surveyed around to find my new watch.. what in my mind is either to get a seiko (again, i always like seiko, the design is quite cool and the price is within my budget..) or a tissot (have aim for this brand bcuz it is swiss make watch, cool design as well but slightly over my budget..) this time.. after the survey.. mmm.. i can't find any design i like for both brands.. the design of seiko are ok but getting a bit bored, nothing so attractive for me.. for the tissot, the design for the price of below RM1,300 are not really nice, and if u wanna take the nice design then have to pay more then this amount..

One day i have stepped in one of the watches shop in KLCC and i saw this Victorinox Swiss Army watch which really attracted me, when i saw the price... OMG!!!! it is double of my budget.. but anyway i still put it on my hand and try, it really look nice on me.. even my frens said that too.. WOW!! definitely i love to have that but with the price, i have no choice but have to hold back.. the lady in the shop gave me quite good discount after bargained with her.. but even after the discount price i still feel 'heart pain' to pay for it.. so she gave me her name card and ask me to go home and consider.. well.. i left the shop but my mind keep on thinking the watch for the next few days..

I went to survey the same watch in another shop, but still the lady in KLCC gave me the best price, and after think and think and think and thinkkkkkk... for almost a week, finally i decided to buy it.. i went back to the shop in KLCC to find the lady and buy it, she even gave me extra RM20 discount at last.. well finally i got it!! YEAH..!!

Nasi Lemak for my breakfast..

As usual my daily breakfast will be bread with milk or coffee.. even my colleague will say that i am a boring person of having same breakfast every morning (from monday to friday..) .. actually around my office here there are a few stalls selling nasi lemak, bee hon or kuih in the monring, and one of the stall is very famous with their nasi lemak, every morning when i passing by, sure see long queue.. everybody seem like wanna grab a pack of nasi lemak to start their day..!!


Few days ago.. my big boss treating everybody in the office the famous nasi lemak for breakfast and i have chosen the curry chicken with sotong.. in fact the curry chicken and sotong only taste normal to me, not really delicious.. but what the most delicious in the pack of nasi lemak is the rice.. it smell so nice and not to mention the taste.. so now i know the nasi lemak getting so famous bcuz of the rice..

Guess what...?? after the heavy nasi lemak for breakfast.. my stomach is having some 'funny' feeling, always feel like wanna go toilet.. make me quite uneasy for the whole morning.. but of coz i am not having stomach upset.. actually the reason i dun have nasi lemak or something spicy for my breakfast is bcuz my stomach can't really take it early in the morning.. anyway no regret for the yummy nasi lemak.. the nasi really nice but the lemak is so-so only for me.. hehe!!

The 27th HK Film Awards

THE BEST ACTOR - Jet Li with his role in 'The Warlords'.. his performace in this movie is brilliant..!! Congratulation...!!

THE BEST DIRECTOR & BEST PICTURE for Peter Chan in 'The Warlords', this movie grabs 8 awards.. Congratulatin..!!

THE BEST ACTRESS - 斯琴高娃, this is her 2nd best actress award where the first one she won 23 years ago.. wow!! Congratulation..!!

There is a live telecast last night for the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards.. I didn't watch the telecast bcuz I was outside.. I was damn happy once i know that Jet Li won the best actor award for his role in 'The Warlords - 投名状'.. WOW....!!

Before the awards night, i really wish Jet Li can win the best actor awards for his role in 'The Warlords', the first reason is bcuz he is my favorite action/martial act actor, haha!!.. secondly, he really did a great job for his role in 'The Warlords', it really something different from all his past movies, once we watched the movie and we already talking about his nomination and winning the best actor award, finally its all come true.. haha!! congratulation Jet Li..!!

'The Warlords' has won 8 awards in total which included the Best Picture and Best Director - Peter Chan - 陳可辛.. Peter can makes different type of movies from '甜蜜蜜' to '如果·愛' then now '投名狀'... we can see from touching love story to musical love story then to a totally different war movie, and this is first time Peter directed a war or martial act movie, and with the great feedback and awards won, once proved again.. he is really a brilliant director.. congratulation Peter Chan..!! hope u will produce more high quality HK movies in future...

The best actres award won by actress from mainland china - 斯琴高娃 for her role in '姨妈的后现代生活'.. i have watched the DVD of this movie and nothing to complain about her acting skills, she really bring the role so alive and really like an aunty in real live, haha.. congratulation to her..

One thing to mention, it has been 4 years in the row that the best actress award won by actress from mainland china.. a bit sad ha.. where are all the HK actress..?? I am not really into HK movies and usually i will choose to watch a HK movie by director or the actor/actress.. most likely my next HK movie will be a movie directed by Peter Chan or act by Maggie Cheung (which I know chance is almost zero.. haha!!)

Escape from Huang Shi

A touching movie.. and make me believed that there is such a great man like Mr.Hogg in real life..

What attract me in this movie is actually 'Chow Yun-Fat', it's been quite a while didn't see him in big screen.. honestly since he moved to Hollywood, so far hardly can find any interesting role in his movies, i have to admit that, asian actors/actress really hard to get any main and outstanding role in Hollywood's movie.. i believe they use asian or chinese actors/actress in their movies just bcuz they wanna make their movies release in China, as we know China is a huge market and sure they will make lot of profits from there..

Let's talk about the movie 'Escape from Huang Shi'.. basically the story is ..

In 1937, George Hogg (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) inexplicably finds himself leading a group of sixty orphan Chinese boys on a journey over the Liu Pan Shan mountains to the Mongolian desert to escape the Japanese invasion. Helping Hogg on his heroic rescue are Chen Hansheng (Chow Yun-Fat), the leader of a Chinese partisan group; Lee (Radha Mitchell), an Australian woman who lends medical help; and Madame Wang (Michelle Yeoh), an aristrocrat also fleeing for her life.

To me, it is not a very good movie but... it is a touching movie.. Mr.Hogg is really a hero and he spent his time and efforts, even contributed his life to save those kids from Huang Shi to a safer place.. I am very impressed by the role of Mr.Hogg which done by Jonathan Rhys Meyer and also the role of Lee, the nurse.. both did a great job in the movie.. as what I have expected, nothing much on the role of Chow Yun-Fat in this movie, and not to mention another asian actress, Michelle Yeoh..

I juz realised this is based on a real event happened in the history before the show end, wow!! Mr.Hogg is really a great man on earth.. we should salute him for what he has done to the sixty kid's life.. Overall, it is a touching movie and I will recommend you guys to go for the show and see what terrible things can be happened during the wars..

A 'delicious' weekend.. yummy!

We had a 'delicious' weekend with all the delicious foods we ate on saturday and sunday.. yummy! yummy! let's start with saturday.. we had belated birthday dinner for Jon in Dain Ti hill chinese restaurant in Pavilion.. we been this place once before, beside the foods are nice, the decoration and environment of the restaurant is great too.. but one thing i don't really understand is why is a Taiwanese eating place they always playing English pop songs and the tv channel always showing fashion show(and the fashion shows are from Paris / Milan..)?? oh! before i forget the decoration also more like western the oriental, haha.. strange..!! anyway, it's not a complain la..

Talking about the foods.. mmm.. my favorite is the baked rice roll topping with prawn and mayonnaise, beside that the mongalian beef stir-fried, pork chop steam rice and 'Gui Fei' chicken noodle all are yummy.. yummy.. also... all of us enjoyed the foods so so much!! since its a belated birthday dinner so we ordered the drink - rainbow concoction.. it has 5 colors - blue, red, pink, green and yellow.. honestly its not really taste alcohol and some even taste like cough medicine.. hahaha..!! anyway it is a great dinner for the foods and the environment..!!

On sunday, we all work so hard in gym with the body step class and cardio.. so everybody was so tired and hungry after the gym.. so we are hunting for foods to fill our empty stomach.. fren suggested to go for 'siao lung pao' in Dragon-i.. yo!! sure no problem.. i love 'siao lung pao'.. so we ordered 'siao lung pao' and a few other dishes to share, of coz the soup ramen.. it is so satisfying after the meal.. haha!!

So after the two big meals on the weekend, we have to start work hard in gym again for the weekdays before we go hunt for some nice foods again on coming weekend.. wakaka!!

Mariah Carey, her 18th No.1 single 'Touch My Body'..

Mariah Carey's latest single 'Touch My Body' has become No.1 in Billboard Hot 100 chart in US.. and it also Mariah's 18th No.1 single in the chart, and.... with this achievement pushing her to second place among artists with the most No.1 singles in the chart together with Elvis Presley and on the first place is the Beatles who had 20th No.1 singles..!! I don't think it is a difficult task for Mariah to climb to the first place with additional two more No.1 singles with her current popularity.. wish her good luck!!

'Touch My Body' is her first single from her upcoming album 'E=MC²' which will be released on April 15, 2008 worldwide.. honestly the song not really impressed me much bcuz I still like Mariah sing something like her great old songs 'Hero', 'Without You', 'Butterfly' and so on.. most of her current songs are more in hip-hop and which can't really hear and feel her great voice.. Hopefully in her new album will have some touching songs which I can play it over and over again at night.. She seems like lost quite a lot of weights lately, you can see in the 'Touch My Body' MV, her body is in a much nicer shape now, and Wow!!! of coz she is much more sexy now..!! good to see her back to shape again.. finally.. haha!!

When the first time I heard the song 'Bleeding Love'.. OMG!! I was so impressed by the powerful voice of the singer - Leona Lewis.. her voice is simply amazing.. Compared to other powerful voice female singers like Celine Dion (I always feel so pressure to hear her voice and never can enjoy her songs..), Mariah Carey (her voice is great but most of her new songs are into hip-hop style, and can't find something so touch like 'Hero' or 'My All'..), Whitney Houston (she used to have a great voice but didn't hear from her anymore due to the drag cases..) and Christina Aguilera (I love her voice so much especially in her latest song 'Hurt', amazing..!! still love her..)

Leona Lewis is an English songwriter and singer, and she is the winner of the X Factor (a British television talent show).. you guys can go you tube to watch some videos of her during the competition, and no doubt she is the winner with all her great performances.. Her debut album 'Spirit' was released in UK in November 2007 and it became the fastest-selling debut album ever in both the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.. her single 'Bleeding Love' was released in US in March 2008 and it has became No.1 in US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and she is the second UK female singer who make it No.1 in US Billboard Hot 100 chart..

I am not so sure whether can I get her album 'Spirit' here, but definitely will try to get a copy bcuz it is really worth to have it in my CD collections.. The CEO of Piaget has officially announced that Maggie Cheung has becomes the international ambassadress for Piaget watchmaker and jeweller in the press conference in Beijing on March 26th 2008..

Honestly I don't know much about Piaget, for what I know it is a luxury brand which had an outlet in KLCC, next to Tod's.. must be very luxury because always saw a security guard with gun standing at the entrance of the outlet whenever I passing by.. I have done a bit of studies about this brand..

It's been almost 4 years that Maggie didn't make any new movie... OMG!!.. 4 years.. she been rejected all the proposers by different directors bcuz she is not interested on the proposed roles, beside that she said she she will try not to repeat the same role over and over again.. she said definitely she will get herself into a new movie anytime if there is a project that she is interested.. hopefully the project will on her hand soon bcuz I have miss her movie so much and really hope to see her again in movie again.. I am sure not only me, lot of us like to see her movie/movies in near future..
